Comprehensive routine inspections
Our scheduled maintenance service includes detailed inspection of:
- Crane functions and the controls for speed, smoothness of operation and limits of motion
- Emergency and safety switches and interlocks
- Moving parts and lubrication
- Filters, fluid levels and leaks
- Structural components and critical parts, including brakes, gears, fasteners, pins, shafts, wire ropes, sheaves, locking devices and electrical contractors
- Signage, including warning signs and control markings
- Wear on wheels and tyres
- Load moment indicator (LMI) and rated capacity indicator (RCI) devices, verifying accuracy with a test lift
Crane repairs and recovery
Cosmic Cranes can assist if an unexpected heavy crane incident occurs. We’re available to complete urgent repairs or recover cranes involved in an accident.
With our high-level heavy crane expertise, we also provide support to the building construction industry. We complete maintenance and repairs on internal climbing cranes, as well as recovering them from rooftops after project completion.
